Regulations for this year’s RBS International Manx Rally, which takes place on 9/10^th May, are now available to download from the event website, www.manxrally.org, and the race is on to obtain one of the 140 places on the entry list for one of the most popular events in the UK rallying calendar.

Sponsored by RBS International for the third consecutive year, the ‘Manx’ was once again voted the ‘Best Event’ by competitors in the 2007 MSA Asphalt Rally Championship. It is the second qualifying round of this year’s series and also welcomes contenders for the Pirelli MSA Gravel Rally Championship and the Mitsubishi Ralliart Evolution Challenge.   

Retaining its popular ‘two-leg’ format, the rally begins in Port Erin at 7.00pm on Friday 9^th May when the first car will leave for the first of five special stages over the closed public roads on the Isle of Man. Following an overnight halt, the TT Grandstand hosts the event on the Saturday, during which a further nine stages must be completed prior to the finish at 4.30pm .

The Awards Presentation will take place in the Villa Marina Complex, in Douglas , from 9.30pm on the Saturday evening.
