Supporting the Liver Foundation Trust

Since 2000, in memory of Elizabeth Skinner, for many years the Event Secretary, the Manx National Rally has been a keen supporter of the Liver Foundation Trust in its research into liver disease and organ transplantation.

Following donations by competitors and officials on the 2005 Roush Manx Rally, a total of £1700 was raised and, in a ceremony at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham recently, Clerk of the Course John Skinner presented a cheque to surgeons Mr Simon Bramhall and Professor James Neuberger from the Trust.

Not content with the money raised so far, which is in excess of £5000, the 2006 RBS International Manx Rally will similarly be supporting the Liver Foundation Trust and donations will once again be forwarded to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital .
